Diversity might be strength in few communities and I'm a big fan of Canada for promoting diversity. They certainly know how to respect and promote diversity.
But as far as my experiences are concerned as a recent immigrant in the canadian tech industry it is not very pretty.
These blanket platitudes are kind of annoying...the same liberals who like saying this stuff over and over in Canada also have damaging policies towards the economy in general.
Despite Trudeau's posturing today that "all are welcome", Canada bans single men from Syria and has overall quotas. So, in fact, not all are welcome.
If you want unlimited immigration in North America - open borders - go ahead and say so. Let's have referendums on that in the US and Canada and see how those do.
