I have no idea if this is true or not, but I think it’s fairly obvious it’s going to happen at some point. Janet Yellen has broadcast to the world for months now that she believes BTC is being used to fund terrorism and for money laundering. No one can say they weren’t warned well in advance.
The Department of Justice issues [criminal] charges, not Treasury. Treasury could issue sanctions against foreigners though.
Some wales know about this and ejected? That's why the drop today?

I don't find this credible. The tweet itself is fishy: Treasury doesn't charge money laundering (DOJ does) & a case against several FIs at once would be unusual. Also, criminal investigations are kept strictly confidential & rarely leak. I'm not convinced by unnamed "sources."
