A brief looks in the git history of a repo, or of the user will betray this scam because it's too transparent. Counting productivity by commits is silly.

Nice, but I think it would look suspicios if there was no gaps.
I just imagine how this cold be extended with auto generated commit messages with common form and picking from customizable word lists =)
