Could it just be reading an underlying misspelling in the data, as in "soujtwest"? A combination of transposing TH as HT due to timing disruption between the left and right hand, while mistyping the H as the adjacent J.
There are plausible pronunciation attempts for "soujt" that a listener might phonetically transcribe as "sawjootee".
They are way too busy deprecating OS features to focus on actually adding/enhancing functionality. Maybe you are 'listening to the app wrong' ?
