Because I don't believe declaring yourself a member of "team TERF" (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) expressly in line with J.K. Rowling is much of a "joke." It's like saying "if that makes me a segregationist, call me George Wallace." It sounds more like an unambiguous statement that you align with opponents of trans existence.
