I realize this will be perceived as political, but to me its fact: the issue is the reaction of part of the political spectrum to these issues and the use of them to try and further their agenda. That is the root cause of the mental health issues we're seeing. If we were pursuing a constructive solution, it would be different. But we're just finding boogeymen to push politics. And unsurprisingly there is serious fallout from this kind of manipulation.
