For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. -- H. L. Mencken
The assumptions underlying Charlie's view of the world are invalid. They assume globalization will continue apace, with "the free market" solving all woes. Nothing could be further from the truth.
I think that Peter Zeihan[1], Nate Hagens[2], and Daniel Schmachtenberger[3] are far better guides to the current societal transformations taking place. What's happening will have huge economic effects, not causes.

If you look at the youtuber account history, you see the fear posting. Who’s paying to shill this stuff?
Best quote by Munger, "The world is not driven by greed, it's driven by envy."
To start, this explains why social media, and such, can be so nasty and why many of us are never completely satisfied with what we have.
It's a good video to watch.
The title of this piece is clickbait and inaccurate compared to the content.
And low quality media source.
The speaker is credible (being CM, but it assumes it's an entirely authentic video).
This is partly a redux of the ideas of Chalmers Johnson but extends farther into macro economics, history, and current events. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2CCs-x9q9U
It's also doom prediction, in the spirt of people like Thom Hartmann.

Despite the sensationalist title, this is an excellent video filled with very good advice. Munger describes how civilizations collapse. He specifically says he doesn't predict these things. He tries to make money at high tide and low, at night and at day. He goes out of his way to say he's not a prophet.
