Ok, so congratulations! You've got a node--- now what?

How do you recover the cost of running your node? Processing rewards/gas are handed out *randomly* so that doesn't sound very enticing. Maybe MEV arbitrage bot?

With so many people running "arbitrage bots" and vying for the same pot of gold, is it really that profitable? If it's easy and profitable, this really is a proverbial "perpetual money making machine" and the universal laws of financial entropy suggest it won't remain this way for very long.
