PG: AI is going to replace all the schlock that everyone ignores

  • 100% right, I've said before, chatgpt is late to the party on generating low quality content. The internet is already full of it. It may change the economics slightly, but all the concerns about "you won't know what's real" or whatever are way overblown in that the internet has been like that almost since the beginning. (The old "where men are men, women are men, and children are FBI agents")

Also, didn't PG quit Twitter just a few days ago?

People don't generally get tenure on the basis of uncited papers.

  • Bespoke Schlock. Schlock that learns it's audience and formats it's message appropriately. Schlock around the clock. Hey, is that your mom? No, it's just Schlock pretending to be my mom.

  • All the shallow, vacuous blog posts by VCs and thought leaders..
