Cruise recalls fleet after collision

  • Cruise updated its software in March, after a low-speed (10 m.p.h.) failure to stop in time, in which no one was injured. While they weren't required to do so, the company also filed a voluntary report with the NHTSA. To avoid confusion, the company published a blog post explaining their rationale for addressing the "exceptionally rare" set of circumstances.

Teslarati gets the mistaken idea that the low-speed crash happened "earlier this week," and publishes a story headlined "Cruise recalls fleet after collision."
