Agriculture plays a pretty big role in climate change, so the industry is going to need many more people to roll up their sleeves and contribute their time, skills and energy.
However, one of the biggest challenges that I hear over and over is “I wasn’t a farm kid. Where do I begin?”
I started writing Topsoil to answer that question. This month's topic is all about yield: what it is, what drives it, how far we’ve come, and what our ever-higher-yielding future might look like.
