I am perfectly fine with that. I keep applying until I actually have a job, so telling me that I did not get a job doesn't do much for me other than clutter my inbox.
The people who think they are being respectful by trying to schedule a time to talk with me to tell me that I did not get a job are really just wasting my time. I gain nothing from that interaction at all and had to allocate a block of time to it.

Reaction: Five minutes futzing with the stupid app? I guess I'll stick with my "always call 'em" rule for ordering pizza. Bonus - if they're too shorthanded to make my pie in a reasonable time, then it's pretty likely that either they're too shorthanded to answer the phone, or the person who picks up will be honest about their order backlog.
