This is dangerous. Eliminating bacteria is just a part of the process, as chemicals and heavy metals might not be affected by UV. Also I bet the plastic bottles derage in UV and release chemicals into the water (even if only a tiny amount).
At least an additional activated carbon-based filter is required to make the water safe.
