Hello, I apologise but this comment is not related to this post, it's related to a comment I posted here which got flagged and I'd like to voice my doubt in a civil manner.

I posted a comment here yesterday saying something along the lines of "I'm getting 403s popups in chineses". There's no negative connotation, no hate speecha and what looks like no violation of the commenting guidelines.

Nevertheless, my comment got one downvote (which I'm fine with, anyone is free to vote however they please), but my comment got flagged. It's the first time this has ever happened to me on hacker news, where a purely informative comment gets flagged and I'm not sure why. My comment was akin to others like "hug of death brought the website down" or simply "the website doesn't work on mobile on a specific browser" and similar.

Once again I apologise for using this comment thread with something unrelated to this article, but I'm baffled by what happened and I'd like to understand the reason my comment got flagged, so I can stop myself from writing such comments in the future.

Is @dang or any mods available to assist with this inquiry?

Never heard of it, but it looks like a competitor to TiDB. Does anyone here with any experience care to comment?

Oceanbase looks neat, but its license is quite original (mulan public license), thus I’m reluctant to read the code.
