I appreciate that the article acknowledges that most study participants were white.
It's absolutely true that health risks and outcomes differ widely between ethnicities, and that (too) many studies in the West are conducted almost entirely on white subjects, and may not generalize.
One day we'll "look beyond race" and have individualized treatments based on our DNA and microbiome. But that day is many decades away.
