Over a 100 years ago, some nutrition quack in America promoted the idea that chewing 30 times is good for you. That caught on in Japan and still circulates.
My kids are being taught to chew 30 times. Guess where their mom is from.
These researchers neatly picked a range centered around that 30 chews. Amusing!
