    I really need someone to remind me of the exact quote, but this is such a good reflection on the aftermath of one of my favorite quotes, which I can only paraphrase as,

    > The measure of a society is that which it takes for granted

    As in, that society no longer frets about cold winter or sewage or antibiotics or transportation or electricity are the measures of us. That we can forget the magic is the definition of our advancement.

    I love seeing this article, on what the real ramifications are that we can forget ourselves so.
