I personally do not experience any clickbait, fear mongering, media manipulation and reduce misinformation to minimum.
I do not watch TV so I do not watch any news programs.
I do not read any online newspapers.
Even here on HN I block all newspapers. HN is about tech not some randon news arcticle about Musk or Trump. I dont see why I should even see what some other person thinks is news, when, for me modern news is just selling an agenda.
To block all news links on HN I just add these to Ublock origin, to block washingtonpost for instance. Also I live in the UK and I am not in slightest interested in USA news or any news at all.
I do the same for my search engines. change as required.

This could be google, Qwant, duckduckgo etc, But I also block Amazon, google, youtube, meta, etsy, pinterest and all the other sites that fill my search pages that I do not want to enage with, read or buy anything from.
