nomatter what way you lean, collapse of centralized "social order" regardless of source, leads toward adversity, the solution set could be isolationist, or could be a fallback to localized social order. former is a competetive dynamic, latter is cooperative.
i would suspect results such as rural enclaves, vs urban killing fields and tribalism, based on typical quality of social glue
For what it's worth emergency preparedness does not have to be a left or right issue. I believe it is a human and pet survival issue.
