On a personal note - I always advise friends to tailor their CV for every application. It is a pain and it takes time, but the days of just submitting 'your CV' for every job are gone.
If the job spec says 'Team management' and your CV says 'People leader', change it to match the spec. One it helps if the employer does use AI, and two if there is a first round human filter, they will likely be looking for the exact keywords they are expecting.
Maybe this is something that AI could be good for, truthfully updating your CV to align with the job advert?
