Haven't seen the film yet, but I did have a chance to read through the screenplay. The characterization and the dialogue are in the main uninspired. The plot felt disjointed - like taking a shortcut through spacetime. The visual effects will be stunning, but they will not be enough to convince audiences that the movie was above average. If anything it will alert moviegoers to the deficiencies in character, plot and dialogue. NO SPOILERS
